-- — Area residents can be a part of the 10th anniversary production of “On Our Way,” a musical written by Scott Billingsley and Bill Blank, Batesville, and Alan Billingsley, Los Angeles.
The show is presented by the Rural Alliance for the Arts and will be directed by Blank.
“On Our Way” is loosely based on Batesville and the lives of two young adults who made it big. There are many parts available for children at least 6 to mature adults, including characters in huge crowd scenes.
Auditions will be held in the Batesville High School music room Friday, April 20, from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m.-noon. RAA is willing to accommodate other audition times for actors out of town.
Auditioners will read and possibly dance and should bring a short song to sing.
