The Batesville High School pep band will be playing at the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, women’s basketball game Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. in Millett Hall.
BHS band director Eric Stauffer explains how musicians here got this opportunity: “The Miami University Marching Band will be performing in the Inaugural Parade for President Obama. Since most of the pep band is also in the marching band, the university needed a band to cover the game. Naturally, I offered the Batesville band.”
Tickets for the game are $1.
