First win comes on the road for Lady Bulldogs

BATESVILLE — The Batesville Lady Bulldogs notched their first win of the basketball season by knocking off host North Decatur by a score of 57-49.

The Lady Bulldogs held a slim 24-23 lead at halftime, but went on to outscore North 33-26 over the final 16 minutes.

Brooke Rohlfing had a big game. She led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points, 11 rebounds and five steals.

Bailey Baumer was also in double figures scoring with 10 points.

The Batesville junior varsity posted a 36-28 victory.

Kelsey Forbeck set the pace offensively with 10 points followed by Samantha Heidlage with eight.
