-- — It was a pretty easy night on the softball diamond for the Batesville Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Greensburg to play North Decatur and left with a 15-1 victory.
Batesville got off to a slow start, but heated up as the game progressed.
After scoring just one run over the first three innings, the Lady Bulldogs put three on the board in the fourth and five in the fifth. The big blow came with six more in the seventh.
Hannah Putnam led the way at the plate for the Lady Bulldogs. She finished with four hits and scored three times in five trips to the plate.
Hannah Johnson and Cassidy Werner each had three hits, while Meg Liter and Taylor Johnson had two.
Sam Miller pitched and was credited with the victory. Miller gave up just three hits and one run to the Lady Chargers.
