The Batesville Lady Bulldogs have dominated play at the Ripley County volleyball tournament and Saturday was not any different.
Victories over Milan and Jac-Cen-Del led to their 12th straight title.
After a win against South Ripley in the opening round, the Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles found themselves in the final match at Batesville High School.
The Lady Bulldogs were not very consistent, but they were good enough to defeat JCD 25-17 and 25-16 in the championship match.
Recording a hitting mark of 21-percent and a 43-percent kill percentage, the Lady Bulldogs were still able to rack up 18 kills.
Bailey Baumer finished with a team high six kills. She was also the top server with eight points, including six aces.
Morgan Dreyer led the team in setting with eight assists.
Defensively, Baumer, Rylee Goldsmith and Katie Thomas each had five digs.
The first match of the day was a 25-14 and 25-12 victory over the Lady Indians.
The serving percent was nearly five points better and their hitting percentage was up 18, which resulted in more opportunities.
Baumer and Madi Oesterling were the top hitters with eight and six kills, respectively.
Goldsmith was the high point server, while Thomas led the ball handling effort with 13 assists.
Dreyer anchored the back row play with seven digs. Baumer was second on the team with five.
