The Bulldogs took the early lead with a goal at the 21 minute mark. Axel Weirauch scored off a diagonal pass from Garret Price. The lead did not last long as the Knights answered within the next minute. The two teams entered the second half knotted at 1-1. Again, the Bulldogs took the lead. Pat Yeager dribbled around a defender and scored at the 21 minute mark. It appeared Yeager’s goal might hold up as the game-winner, but the Knights answered with two minutes to play in the game. The Bulldogs are now 3-2-1 on the season. Batesville JV drops 2-1 decision The Batesville High School junior varsity was defeated 2-1 by South Dearborn. The only Batesville goal was scored by Evan Hawkins with an assist from Jacob Hawkins. The Knights followed with two goals to capture the victory. The Bulldogs are now 3-1 on the season.
