--- — Two evenly matched teams took the field and the final score reflected the same. The Batesville High School boys soccer team hosted South Dearborn and the two teams finished in a 2-2 tie. The Bulldogs took the early lead with a goal at the 21 minute mark. Axel Weirauch scored off a diagonal pass from Garret Price. The lead did not last long as the Knights answered within the next minute. The two teams entered the second half knotted at 1-1. Again, the Bulldogs took the lead. Pat Yeager dribbled around a defender and scored at the 21 minute mark. It appeared Yeager’s goal might hold up as the game-winner, but the Knights answered with two minutes to play in the game. The Bulldogs are now 3-2-1 on the season. Batesville JV drops 2-1 decision The Batesville High School junior varsity was defeated 2-1 by South Dearborn.
