The second annual 6K Bulldog Relay Challenge will be held Friday, July 27, at Batesville High School behind the tennis courts.
The Hokum Karem is something different, according to BHS track and field coach Lisa Gausman. It is a two person relay with each person completing three 1K loops.
There are three categories - male/male, female/female and mixed. The age divisions include under 30; 30-39; 40-59; 60-79; 80-99; and over 100.
“You must have a partner to run with and teams only consist of two runners,” Gausman noted.
Entry forms can be found on the Batesville High School athletics Web site or you can sign up the day of the race. The challenge is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m
