BATESVILLE —
The Oldenburg Academy boys basketball team produced nine more points than its season average, but still came up short against Greenwood Christian on Friday night.
The Twisters fell at home to the Cougars by a score of 61-43.
The game was tied at 10-10 at the end of the first quarter. Four different players scored for OA in the period with Ted Geis hitting a pair of field goals to lead the way.
The game began to get away from Oldenburg in the second period. Greenwood Christian busted out to a 10 point lead by halftime.
By the end of the third quarter, the Cougars had a 46-34 advantage.
Corey Reynolds scored a team high 19 points for coach Gary Moorman’s squad.
The Twisters fall to 2-8 on the season, while Greenwood Christian bumped up to 4-7.
