The Oldenburg Academy Twisters picked up two more wins on the hardwood and evened their record at 6-6.
The Twisters defeated Greenwood Christian on Friday and followed up with a victory over Waldron one night later.
Oldenburg got off to a slow start Saturday against the winless Mohawks.
Waldron scored 11 first quarter points and led by six. The Twisters were able to keep pace in the second quarter and took a slim 18-17 lead into halftime.
Jim Moorman and Jason Strasemeier provided an offensive spark in the third quarter.
Seven points by Moorman and six by Stasemeier led to a 18-25 run and a 36-32 advantage through three quarters.
After struggling from the free throw line over the first 24 minutes, the Twisters made them count in the fourth quarter. The team hit 7-of-9 attempts to help secure the victory.
Strasemeier finished with a team-high 20 points, while Moorman was second with 15.
The Twisters were hampered by a slow start against Greenwood Christian, but went on to post a 55-47 victory.
After falling behind 13-10, Oldenburg outscored their opponents 21-5 and established a 13 point cushion by halftime.
Strasemeier led all scorers with 19 points followed by Moorman with 15.
OA junior varsity
goes to 8-3
The Twisters were 47-34 winners over Waldron in the junior varsity contest.
The two teams were tied at the end of three quarters, but Oldenburg outscored the Mohawks 18-5 in the fourth.
Woodie Perkins and Lucas Nare each had seven points in the fourth quarter.
Nare finished with a team-high 13 points followed by Dan Rohrig with 12.
Oldenburg defeated Greenwood Christian 36-12. Eleven different players scored for the Twisters.
