The preliminary round of the Indiana High School Athletic Association swimming sectional at Columbus North took place Thursday before the winter storm hit.
The finals were scheduled for Saturday, but Mother Nature won this battle and forced a delay in the competition.
The finals and consolation finals were scheduled for Monday, Feb. 8.
The first round of the meet establishes who gets to compete on the second day with a chance to make it to the IHSAA state finals. The top sixth finishers in each event qualify for the finals and next six for the consolation finals.
The Batesville Lady Bulldogs and Oldenburg Academy Lady Twisters were both solid competitors at the prelims.
