--- — A few new faces and a familiar face returns. After a year off, Jack Froman has returned to coach the Batesville High School boys tennis team. The team also boasts three new players to the varsity line-up, including a pair of freshmen playing at No. 2 and 3 singles. The Bulldogs will improve from last season, but lost their opener 3-2 to the Connersville Spartans. Batesville won matches at No. 1 and 2 singles.
