-- — The Batesville Lady Bulldogs Soccer team opened the 2012 campaign with a 3-0 win against Greensburg.
The Lady Bulldogs dominated possession of the ball for most of the game and had a lot of opportunities on goal, according to first-year head coach Kyle Laker.
After the scoreless first half, Batesville came out in the second half and was able to convert on the some of the chances that eluded them in the first.
Freshman Audrey Hall opened up the scoring with a shot from outside the 18 yard box that managed to bounce over the goalie and into the goal.

The Lady Bulldogs were solid defensively the entire game and allowed only five shots. Rebecca Roell recorded the shut-out in goal.
