Sue C. Myers, 67, Milan, died at home Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010.
The daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Begley) Adkins was born in Cincinnati Aug. 20, 1942.
Myers worked as a cycle counter for 34 years at Hill-Rom before retiring in 2008. She was a Milan American Legion auxiliary member.
Survivors include three sons: Wayne Evans and David and Jack Myers, Milan; four daughters: Tina McKeown, Tonya Glacken, Mary Smith and LaVonne Craft, Milan; five brothers: Frank and Chester Walker, Versailles, Houston Walker, Texas, Donald Bowman, Kentucky, and John Walker, Oklahoma; a sister: Elizabeth Alben, Colorado; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Myers also was preceded in death by four brothers: Marion and Raymond Adkins, Tim Hageman and Roy Alben; and two sisters: Sylvia Asher and Elvira Kilgore.
Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 11, from 5-8 p.m. at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Walter Begley will officiate the funeral there Friday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m.
Burial is at Craven Cemetery, Milan. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
