Cora Ann (Doyle) Stratman, 97

-- — Cora Ann (Doyle) Stratman, 97, Jupiter, Fla., died peacefully Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, in New Haven, Conn.

She was born Dec. 1, 1914, to Henry and Rosella Doyle in Manchester, Ohio.

Cora was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Clement (2009); and her siblings: Ernest (1908), Clarence (1920), Della (1921), Albert (1960), Henry Edward (1969), Marian (1982), James (1983), Ada (1983), Margaret (1987), Almia (1990), Edith (1995) and Ethel (stillborn).

Cora was a beautiful lady of strength, intelligence, humor, grace and compassion. She always had a smile on her face for everyone she met. She will be forever missed.

Cora is survived by her son, Terry Stratman (Judy Emery), Long Beach; daughters Denise Stratman, Lawrenceville, N.J., Sandra Stratman, East Haven, Conn., and Sandra Campbell, Bradenton, Fla.; grandchildren Deborah, Steven (Kelly McFarland) and David (Colette Willey); great-granddaughters Ella, Emery Jane, Amanda and Sarah; and scores of third, fourth and fifth generation nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held at Weigel Funeral Home Friday, Sept. 28, from 5-8 p.m. A Mass will follow Saturday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association or any charity.
