-- — Pauline Boots Pigmon, 86, Batesville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at her son’s home in Batesville.
Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Corbin Glow, Ky., she was the daughter of Desta Back. She married Eather Pigmon, and he died March 1985.
Pauline was a very faithful member of the Batesville Baptist Church, which she loved very much. She was the last of its founding members. After many years, she retired from Batesville Casket Co.
She will be dearly missed by her children: E. Edward Pigmon, Tim P. (Carolyn) Pigmon and Harry R. (Gwendola) Pigmon; and also by her six grandchildren: Art and Scott Pigmon, Greg and Nick Pigmon and Rachel and Sarah Pigmon; along with five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter, Desta Pigmon; her son, Vernon Dale Pigmon; and five brothers and sisters.
Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at Batesville Baptist Church. Pastor Roger Bates will officiate funeral services there Friday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Rossburg Cemetery, New Point.
