-- — Clifford Dale Budd, 83, Batesville, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg.
The son of Harry and Echo (Dohnaka) Budd was born in New Castle March 30, 1929.
On March 30, 1950, in Denver he married Barbara Molloy, who died March 29, 2012.
Budd was a U.S. Air Force veteran and Church on the Rock Assembly of God, Batesville, member.
He was the owner of the former Budd’s Arco, Batesville, and retired from National Lead of Ohio (Fernald).
Surviving are children James Allen Budd, Montgomery Village, Md., Gail Lynn (Thomas) Needham, Centerville, Va., Thomas Pat (Leta) Budd, Greensburg, Janet Lea Budd, Bellevue, Neb., Sharon Michelle (Roy) Palmer, Dry Ridge, Ky., and John Dennis Budd, Batesville; grandchildren Nicholas Paul Budd, Kyle Needham, Aaron R. Budd, Matthew Budd, D.J. Budd, Michael Wayne Palmer, Robert Matthew Palmer and Jeffrey Curtis Palmer; great-grandchildren Mallory Lane Palmer, Simon Addler Palmer, Chloe Diann Palmer, Ivan Knight Palmer, Grant Avery Palmer, Matthew Morgan Newman and Sarah Elizabeth Newman; brothers John and Maurice Budd; and sisters Mildred Davis and Marilyn Porter.
He also was preceded in death by brothers Harry, William and Roy Budd; sister Linda Budd; and granddaughter Jennifer Needham.
Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Home.
Pastor Roger Dean will officiate the funeral Friday, Aug. 31, at 10 a.m. at Church on the Rock Assembly of God. Burial with military rites is at Rossburg Cemetery, New Point.
