Donald Weiler, 83

— Donald Weiler, 83, Milroy, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at his residence.

The son of the late Frank and Mary (Zinser) Weiler was born July 22, 1929, in Brookville.

He married Lucille Schwegman Feb. 6, 1951, and she survives.

He graduated from Brookville High School in 1947. Don farmed in the Milroy community since 1963. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Rushville.

Other survivors include four daughters: Marilyn Weiler-Koster, Dixon, Ill., Darlene (Tim) Marlow and Karen Jenkins, Milroy, and Melissa (Danny) Lee, Greenwood; two sons: Ron Weiler, Milroy, and Kevin (Andrea) Weiler, Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tim Nisley, in 1980; three sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 4-7 p.m. at Todd Funeral Centre and Crematory, Rushville, where all are welcome to come and recite the rosary at 3:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery.
