Paul E. Disney, 84

— Paul E. Disney, 84, Sunman, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Ripley Crossing, Milan.  

He was born March 1, 1928, to Robert C. Disney and Minta Dobson in Anco, Ky.

He married Georgia M. Greenwell April 16, 1949, in Lawrenceburg, and she preceded him in death Sept. 20, 2005.  

He retired from Fernald after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and sightseeing, especially at the Smoky Mountains and Red River Gorge.

Survivors include three daughters: Linda K. (Robert) Ellison and Georgia LeAnne (Michael) Bushorn, Milan, and Joy Marie Disney (partner Chris Horton), Osgood; daughter-in-law Sharon Disney, Milan; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by his son: Paul Disney Jr.; and three brothers: Don, Damon and William Disney.

Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. until the noon services at Cook Funeral Home, Sunman. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Milan.
