Katherine “Katie” Weber, 76

-- — Katherine “Katie” Weber, 76, Greensburg formerly of Batesville, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus.

The daughter of Emmett and Ruth (Ramer) Fullmer was born Aug. 11, 1935, in Batesville. On Aug. 13, 1955, she married Robert Weber at Batesville United Methodist Church, and he survives.

After working at Hill-Rom for 30 years, the 1953 Batesville High School graduate retired in 1998. Prior to that job, she worked at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club and the Sherman House.

She was a St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville; Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 349, Batesville; Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 927, Greensburg; and Rosie Reds member.

Survivors also include two daughters: Terri McKittrick and Linda Borgman; two sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Donna Weber and Jay and Barb Weber; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Wendell, James and Wayne Fullmer; and a granddaughter.

Visitation is Sunday, July 29, from 12:30-3 p.m., and the service officiated by the Rev. David Johnston is Monday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Meyers Funeral Home. Burial is at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Crossroads.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or St. John’s United Church of Christ.
