Paul G. Ramey, 70
Paul G. Ramey, 70, Sunman, died Friday, July 17, 2009, at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg.
Born Oct. 9, 1938, in Franklin County, he was the son Allie and Verna (Mullikin) Ramey. He married Rosemary Hoog July 2, 1966, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Leon, and she survives.
He retired from Sperry-Rice Co., Brookville, after 37 years there.
Survivors also include one daughter: Rebecca Ramey, Milan; three sons: Paul and Adam Ramey, Sunman, and Anthony Ramey, Manchester; three sisters: Louise Bledsoe, Bright, Faye Taylor, Florence, and Evelyn Brown, North Bend, Ohio; two brothers: Danny Ramey, West Harrison, and Tommy Ramey, Harrison, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Betty Tharp, Stella Ramey and Shirley Baker.
Visitation is Monday, July 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Sunman. The Rev. Ryan McCarthy will officiate the 10:30 a.m. funeral Tuesday, July 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial is at the church cemetery.
