Ripley County sheriff’s officers are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Napoleon Jan. 31, reports Sheriff Tom Grills.
About 8:19 p.m., a male entered Youngman’s Marathon and held the attendant at gunpoint while removing an undisclosed amount of cash from the business.
The suspect is described as about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 130-140 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored work type jacket with a hood and dark colored tennis shoes. He was armed with some type of handgun. It is unknown if the suspect fled the area on foot or in a vehicle.
