Oldenburg residents have reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in town, reports town Marshal Scott Barnhorst.
“We received a couple of reports of three males in a black-colored pickup truck in Oldenburg. There are flames supposedly down the side of the truck and a generic sign on the side that reads ‘Tree Service.’”
Citizens have observed the men knocking on doors. “If no one comes to the door, it appeared that one of the individuals tried to push or pull hard on the door, possibly trying to gain access into the home.”
He encourages persons who see suspicious activity to call 911 immediately. In addition, anyone with further information concerning these individuals is asked to contact the Oldenburg Police Department at 934-3556 or the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 800-533-4392.
