BATESVILLE —
The weather forecasters were right.
The snow fell much of the evening on Tuesday and into the night. A blanket of thin ice and few inches of snow greeted everyone as they woke this morning. The white stuff is pretty, but it sure slowed things as many were seen shoveling out.
Many school corporations made the call to cancel school last night and it proved to be a good one.
Now lets hope the forecasters get it right with a warm up over the weekend. Most hope this last touch of winter will lead into more spring-like conditions.
