-- — Families who attend the Brookville Main Street After Hours Party May 18 from from 5-8 p.m. can help out a great cause, the county’s Relay for Life.
Festive games, activities and food will be lining the street, including pie in the face, longest cornhole, lemon shakeups, duck pond, plinko, lollipop a tree, barbecue sandwiches, peanuts, bake sale, balloons and hair feathers.
A mobile unit at 4th and Main streets will offer free mammograms from 4-7 p.m. Persons may call 859-655-7400 to schedule appointments.
Musicians Toni Deckers, Gene Webb and the Harvey Branch String Band will perform. “If it rains, we do have alternative plans to move bands indoors,” reports Mikel Beck of the Franklin County Convention, Recreation and Visitors Commission.
