Many March activities at library

— Six activities and two classes are on the March calendar at Tyson Library, 325 W. Tyson St., Versailles, said program coordinator Amy Welch.

Conservationist Dr. Robert Mulford will discuss “From Agriculture to Grassland Prairie and Wetland” Monday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. The free program is presented by the Big Oaks Conservation Society.

“Dollar-A-Day Boys,” a musical tribute to the Civilian Conservations Corps, will be presented by author and storyteller Bill Jamerson Tuesday, March 12, at noon.

Every month Tyson Library shows a newly-released-to-DVD movie on the lower level’s “big screen.” Popcorn and drinks will be served for the screening of “Wreck-It Ralph,” rated PG, Saturday, March 16, from noon-1:50 p.m.

Children in grades K-6 are invited to a Game Day Tuesday, March 19, at 1 p.m.

An Easter Egg Hunt that’s twice the size as usual for toddlers through sixth-graders is slated for Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m.

Monday, March 25, from 1-2 p.m. is the library’s annual Kite Fly at Versailles State Park. Children of all ages are welcome and parents or guardians need to stay with their children after meeting at the park. Kites may be provided for children who do not have them.

Yoga classes are offered Tuesdays from 5-6:15 p.m.
