FCCF scholarship applications available

— “Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Franklin County Community Foundation will once again offer multiple scholarships,” reports executive director Shelly Lunsford.

This year, students applying for a FCCF or Dollars for Scholars scholarship may complete one application. The postmark deadline is Monday, March 4. Foundation officials will deliver copies of the applications to the Dollars for Scholars Committee.

Several other nontraditional applications are also available at www.franklincountyindiana.com. Criteria for each scholarship are listed on the applications.

The It’s Never Too Late Scholarship is available for applicants from Franklin County who are at least 25 and continuing his or her education toward a degree or certification. The Robert and Colleen Kuntz Family Scholarship is for applicants who are Franklin County teachers continuing their education. The Tri Kappa William D. Bradt Scholarship applicant must be a female county resident who is at least 25 and is continuing her education.  

The Christopher Profitt Exchange Student Scholarship applicant must be a Franklin County High School junior traveling as an exchange student to a Spanish-speaking country.
