College financial planning eyed Wed.

— Leaders at Indy-based nonprofit ISM College Planning will be at Jac-Cen-Del High School from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, for a college planning workshop.

March 10 is the deadline to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), so now is the time to plan. A recent national report by The Institute for College Access and Success ranks Indiana 11th in the country of states with the highest college loan debt, and Hoosier students' debt burden is $900 more than the national average. ISM just launched Student Loan Game Plan, which offers free, real-time results in all facets of college planning, including how to approach borrowing wisely.
