Virginia Hooten, 20, Batesville, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 28, on charges of dealing in a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a Class B felony, according to Batesville Police Department Chief Stan Holt.
He noted, “This arrest is just one of several that have stemmed from an ongoing investigation by the Batesville police, Indiana State Police and U.S. Marshals Office. These agencies will continue working together along with Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel to target the drug dealers in our community.”
