Each February, American Farm Bureau celebrates Food Check-Out Day, a salute to the American farmer for producing the safest, most abundant and economical food supply in the world.
Franklin County Farm Bureau invites area residents to a complimentary breakfast Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 823 Franklin Ave., Brookville. Isabella Chism, Indiana Farm Bureau second vice president, will present a short program on how important agriculture is to the community and economy.
