Letters to the Editor
Auxiliary appreciates support
Dear Editor,
Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 3183 wishes to thank all members and the public for your support throughout the years and especially for attending the Ladies Auxiliary’s first breakfast Nov. 29. Special thanks to all the coffee cake bakers and those who helped to prepare the breakfast and helped in any other way possible. Also, thanks to all the businesses that advertised for us: The Herald-Tribune, WRBI, Enhanced Telecommunications Corp. and many others. Job well done.
All proceeds went to our Cancer Aid and Research Fund. Any auxiliary member who has been a member for one full year qualifies for a cancer grant if needed. We always welcome and are happy to sign up new female members, ages 16 and over. If interested, call Alberta Amberger at 934-2186 or Bert Yeager at 934-6521.
Happy holidays. God bless you and God bless our veterans and our loved ones serving in the military overseas.
Alberta Amberger,
president and cancer chairman
