--- — Dear Editor, The Batesville Fire and Rescue Department would like to thank the citizens of Batesville, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, city of Batesville, Batesville Memorial Public Library and Batesville Youth Football for all of their hard work and generosity. A big thanks to the volunteers who worked the July 9-10 festival, those who made generous donations and to everyone who came out to support our department. We would also like to apologize for running out of meals for those who came out to support us. We are making changes for next year to accommodate everyone and to make it even better. All of the festival proceeds will be used for replacing and purchasing equipment. Thank you again for all of your support. Batesville firefighters and President Chris Baker
