Four more wins and little bit of hardware were earned by the Batesville High School varsity volleyball team.
The Lady Bulldogs went 3-0 at the Jac-Cen-Del Invitational and captured the team title.
Coach Diane Dierckman’s crew defeated the host Lady Eagles 25-11 and 25-6 to open the tournament.
They followed with wins over Connersville (25-18, and 25-10) and North Decatur (25-10 and 25-21).
“Solid team play allowed us to get the victories,” Dierckman commented. “Everyone contributed over the course of the day, including playing time from freshmen Carley Paul, Eron Fledderman, Fawn Ryan and Sarah Schwegman.”
Batesville tops Tigers
The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers in three games 25-13, 25-17 and 25-12.
Lindsey White and Emily Fledderman each took advantage of a solid setting effort by Cami Fledderman to record nine kills each. Lamppert was a perfect 10-of-10 serving and had two aces. Other who were perfect in serving was Megan Siebert, Emily Fledderman, Claire Heppner and Ellie Tidman.
