Once again, the Bohman Christmas Tree Farm and Sheets Christmas Tree Farm have donated trees for the Trees for Troops program.
After they are inspected by state foresters, trees will be sent to Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Camp LSA, Camp Virginia and Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.
Trees for Troops, a Christmas SPIRIT Foundation program, provides farm-grown Christmas trees to armed forces members and their families in the U.S. and overseas. Through cash contributions, donated Christmas trees, the work of many volunteers and the generous support of shipping sponsor Fed Ex, Trees for Troops has brought the true spirit of Christmas to thousands of deserving servicemen and women and their families.
Since 2005, the organization has provided 103,186 Christmas trees to military families and troops. Each year, thousands of trees are donated by American farm families and the public and delivered to more than 60 military bases.
