Citing her as an advocate for the profession, the real estate industry at large and property owners on the local, state and national levels, Mary Ann Wise-Castner, Versailles, was named the 2009 State Realtor® of the Year at the Indiana Association of Realtors® annual fall conference. She was selected from a group of 22 nominees.
Wise-Castner was the Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors® ROTY.
“I am honored, humbled and so proud to be a Realtor®,” she said upon accepting the award. “As Realtors® we work very hard and to be chosen from among so many deserving ... is unbelievable.”
She is past president of the Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors® and its Multiple Listing Service.
Wise-Castner serves as an instructor at the Southeastern Career Center, where she began teaching the Indiana salesperson prelicensing course in 1979.
