24 jobs cut at Hill-Rom

BATESVILLE — Twenty-four Hill-Rom full-time positions in Batesville were cut March 21.

When asked what types of workers were let go, Marylou McNally, vice president of global corporate communications, said, “The restructuring is occurring in various functions across Hill-Rom.”

President John Greisch explained, “Hill-Rom is in a strong financial position. However, this restructuring is important to allow us to adapt to the ongoing economic conditions while still allowing us to continue to invest in key growth areas, such as research and development.”

According to McNally, “Impacted employees are being provided support from the company in several forms for their transition.”
