BATESVILLE —
William and Alene Schuman, Lawrenceville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 22. They were married Oct. 20, 1951, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Peters.
A Mass of Thanksgiving was said by Father Humbert Moster. A meal for approximately 100 relatives and friends was served after the Mass.
The Schumans are the parents of eight children: Wilma Brannan, West Lafayette; Diana Yee, Arleen Wuestefeld and Lisa Longshore, Cincinnati; Dolores Alexander, Lawrenceville; Daniel Schuman, Batesville; Laura Soos and Michelle Shumate, Lawrenceburg.
They also have 19 grandchildren and 17 living great-grandchildren and also one who is deceased.
